Elmer Andrew McGaugh, Rayville, died Wednesday at the Ray County Hospital. He was 84. Mr. McGaugh was born June 2, 1891, at Rayville, the son of William Daniel and Sarah Ann (Goe) McGaugh. He was lifelong Ray Countian. Mr. McGaugh retired from farming in 1966. He was a member of the Christian Union Church at Rayville.
On November 28, 1917, at Rayville, he was married to Adene M. McQuerry. She died Sept. 9, 1975.
He leaves a brother, ... , and a sister, .... Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Wilbur Holman, the Rev. William Smith and the Rev. Jack Eggers officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery east of Lawson.
The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. Friday at the Gowing Chapel, Richmond.
